Singapore Students Won Top Awards At The 27th International Physics Olympiad
At the 27th International Physics Olympiad in Oslo, Norway from 30 Jun - 7 July 1996, the following Singapore students brought honour to Singapore with their respective awards:
Silver Medal
- Koh Wai Kit from Victoria Junior College
Bronze Medal
- Lai Ghee Hwee from Raffles Junior College
Honourable Mentions
- Ang Chee Wee from Raffles Junior College
- Koong Hin Yeong from Raffles Junior College
- William Sze Wing Kay from Victoria Junior College
In terms of medals won, Singapore was placed 18th out of 57 participating countries.
