Singapore Students Won Top Awards At The 31st International Chemistry Olympiad

At the 31st International Chemistry Olympiad, Bangkok, Thailand, 4 - 11 July 1999, the following Singapore students brought honour to Singapore with their respective awards:

Silver Medals

Lai Ghee Xiong from Raffles Junior College
Neo Tiong Cheng from Raffles Junior College

Bronze Medals

Ong Qing Yuan from Raffles Junior College
Siu Chin Yeung from Raffles Junior College

In terms of medals won, Singapore was placed 19th out of 51 participating countries.
