Singapore Students Won Top Awards At The 40th International Mathematical Olympiad
At the 40th International Mathematical Olympiad, Bucharest, Romania, 10 - 22 July 1999, the following Singapore students brought honour to Singapore with their respective awards:
Bronze Medals
- Lin Shaowei from Raffles Junior College
- Daniel Hue Yousi from Raffles Junior College
- Soh Chong Kian from Raffles Junior College
- Lim Yin from Victoria Junior College
In terms of medals won, Singapore was placed 36th out of 82 participating countries.
